Hitting the Slopes for a Great Cause

Members of Ontario’s Injury Lawyers played hookey last Thursday…but it was for a great cause.  Mike Laplante, Patrick Sloan and Sheila Minnie together with their guests took advantage of the exceptional snow conditions to participate in the annual Spinal Cord Injury Ontario Ski & Snowboard Day.

This event, which is in its 13th year, takes place just outside of Collingwood in the town of Blue Mountains at the Craigleith Ski Club.  It was a fun day for all.  In addition to being a fundraiser, this event provides an opportunity for persons with spinal cord injuries to experience the thrill of hitting the slopes.
