It was an amazing ‘Night at the Theatre’ at the Midland Cultural Center on Wednesday. The Huronia Players put on an amazing production of the musical: “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” that is based on the comic strip ‘Peanuts’ by the late, great Charles M. Schulz.
The event also featured a wonderful cocktail reception for the Georgian Bay Hospital Volunteers Association, that was extremely well received and attended.
The Georgian Bay Hospital Volunteers Association is an integral part of our community. They want to welcome all members of the community to become active volunteers at our hospital in Midland and in Penetanguishene. The contribution volunteers provide is essential in the healing process for patients and family. The warm welcome, enthusiasm and cheerful willingness provided by these volunteers also helps with raising much needed funds for our community hospital.
