About Jennifer

Jennifer graduated Cum Laude from Laurentian University with a BA in Law and Justice in 2014. She received her law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2017 and joined the predecessor firm Ferguson Barristers in 2017 as an articling student with a rotation in litigation. Upon merging with Deacon Taws, Jennifer began a rotation in real estate and estates. Following her June 2018 Call to the Ontario Bar, Jennifer joined the firm as an associate and became partner of the firm in 2025. Prior to articling, Jennifer worked as a Financial Advisor with CIBC primarily dealing with mortgages and lending products. Jennifer’s work consists of real estate transactions, estate planning, estate administration and corporate law. Jennifer is a member of the Simcoe County Law Association. A native of Orillia, Jennifer now resides in Midland with her son Aidan. When Jennifer isn’t practicing law, she can be found singing karaoke, reading or cooking in her spare time.
