About Amanda

Amanda graduated Cum Laude from York University with a Bachelor of Arts Honours in 2008. She received her Master of Arts from Western University in 2009, and her Juris Doctor, also from Western University, in 2014. She articled doing Personal Injury matters, and after being called to the Ontario Bar in June 2015, she began practicing in Real Estate, Estate Administration and Estate Planning. Amanda joined Ferguson Deacon Taws in 2025 as an associate practicing out of their Innisfil/South Barrie location and her practice focuses on Real Estate, Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Born and raised in Alliston, Amanda is delighted to be practicing so close to home. In her free time, Amanda enjoys cottaging with her family on Lake of Bays, international travel, and doing things with her dog.
