Lauren obtained her Paralegal license in 2019 after completing the Paralegal Program at Georgian College. Before receiving her license, Lauren joined Ferguson Deacon Taws in 2018 as a Law Clerk working under the direction of William Taws and Jennifer Goldsmith. As a licensed paralegal, she now focuses on civil litigation.
Prior to attaining her Paralegal license, Lauren obtained a Master’s degree from Nipissing University. Her focus of the study was African American Slavery and the Constitution. Lauren has published work from her studies, “A Union Through Chains: Slavery and Meanings of the United States Constitution”.
Lauren’s work consists of Small Claims Court actions and Landlord Tenant work, while still maintaining an interest in Provincial Offences.
Lauren spends her free time with her spouse, Matt, and their two dogs. She enjoys hiking, reading, and boating.
