Ferguson one of Canada’s best Personal Injury Lawyers

“Best Lawyers’ team of editors spent two years conducting peer-review surveys of the Canadian legal community to develop lists of the most highly respected lawyer in 53 practice areas. Because lawyers must be selected by their peers for inclusion, Best Lawyers is regarded – by both the legal profession and the public – as the gold standard of integrity and reliability in lawyers ratings.”

Rod Ferguson was called to the Bar in 1970 and in 1972 moved to Midland and joined a law firm led by Gord Teskey. Over the past 35 years Rod has developed a civil litigation practice, which serves a very large geographic area in small Ontario centres.

Rod was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1982 and was certified a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1989. He completed his Masters of Law Degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002. Rod is senior partner in the Midland based law firm FERGUSON BARRISTERS LLP and has been an active volunteer in the Midland community over the past 35 years. He has been a member of the Midland Rotary Club since 1974, a member of St. Paul’s United Church, founding President of the Midland-Penetanguishene Big Brothers Association, Director of the Huronia District Hospital, co-founder and Honorary Member of the Penetanguishene Rotary Club, member of the Huronia Historical Advisory Committee and recipient of the Law Society of Upper Canada Bicentennial Award of Merit for meritorious contribution to public service in his community. The Midland Community has a legal resource that is now recognized as the “Best in Canada”.
